On the weekend of April 30 - May 1, 2022, the Spring Wings Bird Festival returned to Fallon. This festival was a collaborative effort between Lahontan Audubon Society, National Audubon Society, AmeriCorps, City of Fallon, Fallon Convention and Tourism Authority, Friends of Stillwater Refuge, Great Basin Bird Observatory, Naval Air Station Fallon, Nevada Department of Wildlife, Nevada State Parks, Fallon Paiute Shoshone Tribe, and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Bird experts helped visitors explore hotspots in the wetlands of Lahontan Valley.
A huge thank you goes to all the partners, staff, and volunteers who made the festival possible, including the visitors who shared their bird checklists. Click the button below to see the compiled eBird report.
